A fine green tea in which each leaf has been rolled into a small round pellet. Rolling the tea renders it less susceptible to physical damage and allows the tea to retain more of the flavour and aroma.
Yunnan means "cloud" as most teas in Yunnan are grown at misty mountainous elevations of 3000-7000 ft. above sea level. Tea leaves are a grayish green with some silvery tips. Develops a bright golden liquor and a fresh green tea flavor with a slight astringent aftertaste. Fabulous value for money.
A variety, where Mao Feng means Fur Peak, which is made of only slightly twisted leaf buds and is sometimes noted for a smoother and different flavour. The green variety is very rare and fine. This is a best seller for us.
