Phulbari tea garden is situated in the Thakurbari district on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in the Assam Valley of north-east India. This mid flush tea has a really, malty, fruity, fermenting beer aroma in the dry leaf which in the cup becomes a honey, flowery fragrance.
Asophisticated tea, suitable for drinking throughout the day. Blending Assam's strength and Darjeeling's elegance and suble flavours is a triumph. Makes a fine breakfast tea but also enjoyable at any moment of relaxation thoughout the day.
Now upgraded to a classic 2nd Flush . This tea from the Hunwal Estate is a fine broken-leaf Assam with smooth, malty notes and a rich, mellow finish. Takes milk very well. A good accompaniment to a hearty breakfast.
